The VTE180-2P42442 from the V180 series is a rugged photoelectric proximity sensor designed with an energetic sensing principle, ensuring reliable detection of objects based on light intensity. With a maximum sensing range of 500 mm and a compact M18 threaded cylindrical design, it is perfectly suited for use in packaging, assembly automation, and materials handling.

Featuring visible red LED light and a 270° potentiometer for sensing range adjustment, it allows for quick setup and fine-tuning. The sensor operates in both light and dark switching modes, selectable via control cable, and supports high-speed detection with a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz.

Built with a nickel-plated brass housing and rated IP67, it offers strong environmental protection and durability, even in demanding industrial environments.
