This repair putty cures at room temperature and requires no heating or welding, making it ideal for maintenance and emergency repair situations. Once cured, LOCTITE EA 3471 provides a metal-like finish and can be machined, drilled, tapped, or filed, enabling accurate dimensional restoration.

It is particularly suited for non-structural repairs, including fixing defects in castings, sealing vessels, tanks, and valves, resurfacing worn air seals, filling cavitated areas, and creating jigs and fixtures. With an operating temperature range of -30°C to 105°C, it delivers dependable performance across a wide range of industrial environments.
