LOCTITE 271 is a high-strength, anaerobic-curing threadlocking adhesive formulated to permanently secure threaded fasteners exposed to severe vibration, shock, and dynamic loads. Its low-viscosity formulation allows it to easily wick into threads, ensuring reliable locking and sealing performance.

The adhesive cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, forming a durable bond that resists loosening and leakage. Its red color provides easy visual identification, while its UV fluorescence enables efficient quality control and inspection.
