LOCTITE 268 Threadlocker Stick is a red, high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive supplied in a convenient semi-solid, non-drip stick format. It is specifically designed for applications where liquids may run or drip, making it ideal for vertical, horizontal, and overhead assemblies.

LOCTITE 268 permanently locks and seals bolts, nuts, and studs, preventing loosening caused by vibration, shock, and thermal cycling. It cures in the absence of air when confined between metal threads, forming a durable bond that also protects against corrosion and leakage.

This threadlocker works on all metals without the need for a primer, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated fasteners. It also cures through most corrosion-prevention oils and cutting fluids on as-received fasteners, reducing surface preparation time and improving maintenance efficiency. Disassembly is possible using localized heating.
