The VW3A3202 Extended I/O Card is designed to enhance the functionality of Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 series variable speed drives, enabling them to handle more complex control requirements. It features four logic inputs, two analog inputs, a dedicated PTC probe input, and a frequency control input, allowing for versatile integration with sensors and control systems. For output, the card provides three logic outputs and two analog outputs, both of which are software-configurable for current or voltage signals, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.
This module is powered by the drive’s internal supply, offering 10.5 V DC for reference potentiometers and 24 V DC for overload-protected control circuits. With an electrical durability of up to 100,000 cycles for configurable relay logic and a maximum logic output current of 0.2 A, it is built for reliability in industrial environments. The design allows for precise control, with fast sampling times, high-resolution signal processing, and support for both DC and analog configurations.
