The VL18-4P3740 from the V18 series is a cylindrical photoelectric retro-reflective sensor designed for reliable object detection across a sensing range of 0.05 m to 3.7 m. Its compact M18 threaded plastic housing ensures easy mounting and durability in industrial environments.

Equipped with a visible red LED, this sensor provides quick alignment and setup. Its sensitivity can be fine-tuned using a 270° potentiometer for application-specific performance. With a narrow beam angle (approx. 2.8°) and IP67 enclosure rating, the VL18-4P3740 is ideal for precise detection tasks, even in harsh conditions.
