Description
The Festo CPX-FB13 is a Profibus DP fieldbus node designed for seamless integration into modular CPX automation systems. Engineered with a compact 50 × 107 × 50 mm footprint and rated IP65/IP67 for robust environmental resistance, this unit ensures secure and reliable communication in industrial environments.
With dual M12 connectors and a 9-pin Sub-D socket, the CPX-FB13 supports cyclic (DPV0) and acyclic (DPV1) communication with up to 64 bytes of addressable I/O. It includes built-in diagnostics via LEDs and supports parameterization, fail-safe responses, and channel-level diagnostics directly over the bus.
Its diagnostic memory, DIL switches, and support for plain text startup parameterization make commissioning and troubleshooting fast and user-friendly. The node is also fully compliant with VDMA24364-B2-L for paint-wetting impairment substances and is RoHS-compliant.
