TeSys LRD Thermal Overload Relay – LRD3357

The TeSys LRD3357 is a differential thermal overload relay designed for robust and reliable protection of motors in industrial environments. It offers an adjustable thermal trip current range of 37 to 50 A, with Class 10A tripping characteristics, ideal for safeguarding motors from prolonged overload conditions.

Intended for use with TeSys D series contactors (LC1D80 and LC1D95), this relay is a critical component in creating complete motor starters. In the event of an overcurrent, the relay works in tandem with the contactor to quickly disconnect power, reducing the risk of damage to motor windings.

The relay features:

• Adjustable trip dial for fine-tuning current settings,

• Manual/automatic reset selector,

• Trip test button for simulation,

• Stop button for local shutdown,

• Flag indicator for visual trip status,

• Two auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC) for signaling.

It supports DIN rail or screw mounting and can be directly attached to the contactor terminals. The design includes a transparent, sealable cover to prevent unintentional adjustments. Certified by major international standards including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, and Marine, the relay is also Green Premium compliant for RoHS and REACH.
