Description
The TeSys LRD16 Thermal Overload Relay offers reliable motor protection with a thermal setting range of 9 to 13 A and Class 10A tripping. Designed for 3-phase motors up to 5.5 kW at 400V, it features differential technology that detects phase failure and load unbalance for added safety.
This relay includes a thermal adjustment dial, a manual/automatic reset selector, a trip simulation test button, reset and stop functions, a visual trip indicator flag, and two auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC) for fault signaling. The setting components are protected by a transparent cover that can be sealed to prevent tampering.
It connects directly to TeSys LC1D12 to LC1D38 3-pole contactors using screw clamp terminals and supports DIN rail or screw mounting. Remote mounting is also possible with the use of the LAD7B106 terminal block (sold separately). Certified to global standards (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine) and compliant with Schneider Electric’s Green Premium label (RoHS/REACH), the LRD16 relay combines performance with sustainability.
