Description
The TeSys LRD Thermal Overload Relay (5.5…8 A, Class 10A) is engineered for effective protection of 3-phase motors up to 3 kW at 400V. With a thermal setting range of 5.5 to 8 A, it ensures reliable performance against overload, phase failure, and load imbalance.
This differential thermal relay includes a thermal adjustment dial, manual or automatic reset selector, test selector for simulating tripping, reset and stop push-buttons, and a visual flag for fault indication. Two auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC) are included for signaling. All settings are secured under a transparent, sealable cover.
The device connects directly to the bottom terminals of TeSys LC1D09 to LC1D38 3-pole contactors using screw clamp terminals. It supports both DIN rail and screw mounting, and can be installed separately from the contactor using terminal block LAD7B106 (available separately). The relay is certified to global standards (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine) and complies with Green Premium environmental standards (RoHS/REACH).
