The SmartX Living Space Sensor Base is a reliable and compact sensor designed for accurate monitoring of indoor environments in living spaces. This sensor integrates seamlessly with SmartX IP controllers and uses the EcoStruxure Building Operation software interface for full building management capabilities. Power and communication are provided through the RJ-45 Sensor Bus, simplifying installation and reducing wiring complexity.
Equipped with temperature and humidity sensors, this base unit delivers precise environmental data to optimize HVAC control and maintain indoor comfort. The unit comes without housing, allowing flexible integration into custom enclosures or existing installations. Up to four sensors can be connected per controller, and override functions allow occupants to switch to timed occupied mode for after-hours operation.
With a compact design measuring 111.6 × 81.2 × 20.7 mm and a lightweight form factor, this sensor base is easy to install and discreet in living or commercial spaces. Designed for durability and sustainability, it has a recyclable packaging and a repairable design to extend its lifecycle.
