Description
The Schneider MZ140-24T thermal zone valve actuator is designed for use with VZ08 short stroke linear zone valves, offering dependable on/off two-position control. With no power applied, the actuator remains retracted to keep the valve securely closed. When powered, the actuator stem extends, opening the valve to ensure proper fluid flow.
Compact in construction, the actuator is ideal for installations where space is limited, while its silent operation makes it suitable for residential, commercial, and light industrial HVAC applications. Its spring return function ensures that the valve automatically closes in case of power loss, enhancing safety and system reliability.
Built for durability, the MZ140-24T offers IP44 protection in vertical mounting, a maximum stroke of 4 mm, and 140 N of stem force. It is fully compliant with EMC 24/18/CE and LVD 26/95/CE directives. The actuator is easy to install with its M30 x 1.5 coupling ring, includes a stroke indicator, and provides a 1.5 m bipolar lead connection for straightforward integration.
