Description
LOCTITE SI 596 Flexible Silicone Sealant (Part No. 317667) is a one-part, flowable RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) silicone sealant designed for high-temperature and industrial sealing applications. On exposure to moisture in the air, it cures at room temperature to form a durable, flexible, waterproof, and oil-resistant silicone rubber seal.
This red, smooth acetoxy silicone paste provides excellent resistance to aging, weathering, and thermal cycling, maintaining seal integrity without hardening, shrinking, or cracking. With temperature resistance of up to 316 °C (600 °F), LOCTITE SI 596 is ideal for use in industrial furnaces, ovens, boilers, exhaust stacks, high-temperature ducting, and heating elements in electrical appliances.
Supplied in a 300 ml cartridge, LOCTITE SI 596 offers easy application and reliable performance in maintenance, repair, and OEM sealing tasks where flexibility and high-temperature stability are essential.
