Description
The EasyLogic VarSet Automatic PFC Capacitor Bank, reference VLVAW2L125A40A, is part of the PowerLogic range and delivers advanced low-voltage power factor correction for commercial and industrial applications. It helps eliminate utility penalties, reduce energy costs, lower capital expenditures, and decrease CO₂ emissions by compensating for reactive power from inductive loads.
This model provides a reactive power rating of 125 kVar and is designed for 400 V or 415 V AC networks at 50 Hz. It operates in automatic mode, with compensation dynamically managed by a VarplusLogic power factor controller. The system includes Modbus communication (RS485), enabling integration with EcoStruxure Power and digital energy management platforms for smart monitoring and operational optimization.
It incorporates high-life-expectancy Varplus capacitors, designed according to IEC 831 Parts 1 & 2, and the complete system complies with CE, IEC 61921, IEC 61439-1, and IEC 61439-2 standards.
The enclosure is wall-mounted, finished in RAL7035 light grey, with top-entry incoming connections protected by a circuit breaker. Standard protection rating is IP31, with optional kits available to upgrade to IP54. This solution is particularly suited for applications with variable or unstable loads requiring reliable automatic compensation.
