Description
The SKF TKBA 40 is a highly accurate laser belt alignment tool designed to align pulleys in the grooves rather than on their faces, ensuring optimum results even when pulleys are of different widths or faces. By projecting a visible red laser line, it allows fast and intuitive adjustment of pulleys, significantly reducing belt and pulley wear, as well as energy consumption caused by misalignment.
With its robust design, the TKBA 40 features strong magnets for easy mounting directly into pulley grooves and includes V-guides to accommodate a wide range of V-belt pulleys. The 3D target area on the receiver makes misalignment detection straightforward, showing whether it is horizontal, vertical, parallel, or a combination. This feature also enables simultaneous adjustment of belt tension and alignment, making it both efficient and user-friendly.
Supplied as a complete kit, the TKBA 40 includes the transmitter, receiver, multiple V-guides, batteries, and instructions, all packed in a sturdy carrying case. Built with anodized aluminium housing and polyamide endcaps, the tool is durable and lightweight, with IP40 protection, a long 20-hour battery life, and a calibration certificate valid for two years. This makes it suitable for workshops, maintenance teams, and industries where precision alignment is critical.
