Description
The Altivar Process ATV630 variable speed drive is designed for 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors operating in demanding process and utility applications. With a power capacity of up to 55kW (75 hp) and a voltage range of 380 to 480V AC, this drive meets the needs of high-efficiency systems across industries such as water and wastewater, oil and gas, mining, and food and beverage.
This model features a robust IP21 / UL Type 1 enclosure and includes three RJ45 communication ports, one Ethernet port, and two serial ports, offering seamless integration into existing systems. The innovative Stop and Go function provides up to 30% energy savings in standby mode, reducing operational costs without additional components.
It supports slight overloads (up to 120%) for motors rated at 55kW and significant overloads (up to 150%) for motors rated at 45kW. Accessories and options—such as fan kits, graphic display terminals, I/O expansion, communication modules, and EMC input filters—are available depending on the drive rating.
The ATV630 is built to enhance equipment efficiency, asset and energy management, and overall process performance, while maintaining a compact, wall-mounted form factor. It is fully compatible with Schneider Electric’s process automation architecture, making it a strategic component in energy-saving and performance-optimized systems.
