The Altivar Machine ATV320 (ATV320U07N4C) is a high-performance variable speed drive (VSD) for controlling 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors in OEM-designed machines. With a compact form factor, it supports vertical stacking, making it ideal for space-constrained control panels and machine frames.

Rated at 0.75kW (1HP) and operating across 380V to 500V AC, this drive provides precise torque and speed control at very low speeds, along with high dynamic performance using sensorless flux vector control. It also supports parallel motor connections, extended frequency ranges for high-speed motors, and energy-saving open-loop control for synchronous motors.

Engineered for harsh industrial environments, it features IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated PCBs, enabling operation in ambient temperatures up to 60°C without extra cooling. It includes five embedded safety functions (configurable via SoMove software), allowing easy compliance with machine safety standards—even without a separate safety module.

Fully compatible with EcoStruxure Machine, the ATV320 series allows configuration, diagnostics, and control directly from SoMachine and SoMove software via DTM integration. Certified to IEC/EN 61800 standards, and CE, UL, CSA, NOM, EAC, and RCM compliant, it’s built for performance, reliability, and easy integration across industries like packaging, material handling, textile, hoisting, and mechanical systems.
