Altivar Machine ATV320 Variable Speed Drive – ATV320U04N4C

The ATV320U04N4C is a high-performance variable speed drive (VSD) from the Altivar Machine ATV320 series, designed for 0.37kW (0.5HP) 3-phase motors with a voltage range of 380–500V AC. Built for OEMs, it supports both synchronous and asynchronous motors with advanced control capabilities, including sensorless flux vector control for precise torque and speed regulation, even at low speeds.

Its compact design enables vertical stacking inside machine frames, making it ideal for space-constrained applications. The unit is engineered to withstand harsh industrial conditions, featuring IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 conformal-coated PCBs and operation in ambient temperatures up to 60°C without external cooling.

The ATV320 incorporates multiple embedded features for motor performance optimization, energy savings, and machine safety. It offers 5 safety functions compliant with global safety standards, configurable via SoMove software, and is seamlessly integrated with EcoStruxure Machine architecture for remote configuration, control, and diagnostics.

Ideal for industries such as packaging, material handling, textile, hoisting, and mechanical actuation, the ATV320 is certified to CE, UL, CSA, NOM, EAC, and RCM standards, ensuring broad international compliance. Optional accessories include braking resistors, line/motor chokes, and EMC filters depending on drive rating. It mounts vertically on a panel using 4 fixing holes.
