Altistart 48 Soft Starter – ATS48D62Q

The ATS48D62Q is a high-performance soft starter from the Altistart 48 range by Schneider Electric, designed for controlling the start and stop of three-phase asynchronous motors with rated currents up to 57 A. Operating at a voltage range of 230 to 415 V AC, it delivers smooth and torque-controlled acceleration and deceleration, making it ideal for minimizing mechanical stress on motors and connected equipment.

Equipped with 6 thyristors and Schneider’s Torque Control System (TCS), this unit ensures a soft start/stop process, protecting both machinery and the motor. It supports motors up to 30 kW (standard application) or 22 kW (severe application) when connected in-line. When connected to the motor delta terminals, it supports motors up to 55 kW (standard) or 45 kW (severe).

This compact unit measures 290 mm (H) × 190 mm (W) × 235 mm (D) and weighs 8.3 kg, making it easy to mount in electrical panels. It features built-in machine protection functions and supports direct Modbus communication via RJ45. Compatibility with other industrial networks like Ethernet, Profibus DP, Fipio, and DeviceNet is possible through optional modules.

Certified to IEC/EN 60947-4-2, and with global approvals including CE, UL, CSA, DNV, CCC, and more, the ATS48D62Q is ideal for applications such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and fans, particularly in demanding sectors like construction, food and beverage, and chemicals.
