The ATS48C21Q soft starter from the Altistart 48 series is a robust motor control solution designed for heavy-duty applications requiring smooth and efficient motor starting. Rated at 195 A, it supports motor power from 45 to 160 kW, depending on wiring configuration and application severity.

This unit ensures torque-controlled soft starting and stopping using its 6 integrated thyristors, effectively reducing mechanical stress, improving system reliability, and preventing water hammer effects in pumping systems. It operates with a 230 to 415 V AC power supply and supports both standard and severe duty motor loads.

The ATS48C21Q includes built-in motor and machine protection as well as advanced communication capabilities. It features a Modbus RJ45 port for direct integration and can connect to Ethernet, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, or Fipio via optional communication modules.
