Description
The VarSet automatic capacitor bank is part of the PowerLogic family and delivers reliable automatic reactive power compensation for networks with variable or unstable loads. With a reactive power rating of 100 kVar at 400–415 V AC, 50 Hz, it helps optimize power factor, reduce energy losses, and lower operating costs.
Equipped with a VarplusLogic power factor controller, the system automatically adjusts compensation levels for optimal performance. It supports RS485 Modbus communication and integrates seamlessly with EcoStruxure Power, enabling smart monitoring, measurement, and remote system management.
Designed for networks with low harmonic distortion (up to 4% voltage / 10% current), this solution ensures stable operation and long service life using high-quality Varplus capacitors compliant with IEC 60831-1 and IEC 60831-2.
The enclosure is wall-mounted (RAL7035), with IP31 protection (upgradeable to IP54), and includes a bottom-entry incomer protected by a circuit breaker. Its compact design makes it suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial installations where space is limited but efficient power factor correction is required.
