Description
The Acti9 PowerTag Link is a smart communication module designed to integrate PowerTag wireless energy sensors into building and energy management systems. It acts as a wireless concentrator, collecting energy data from connected sensors and transmitting it through Modbus TCP/IP via Industrial Ethernet for monitoring and analysis.
This device supports basic energy metering as well as advanced load monitoring, including measurements such as energy (E), voltage (U), current (I), power (P), and power factor (Pf). It also provides load alarming and diagnostic capabilities, helping facility managers detect issues and optimize energy usage.
The PowerTag Link can connect up to 20 wireless PowerTag devices, enabling detailed monitoring of multiple circuits at the load level. It includes one Industrial Ethernet interface and one wireless communication interface, ensuring seamless integration into modern electrical and building management systems.
The module operates with a 110–230 VAC power supply at 50/60 Hz and uses screw connections for reliable installation. With a protection rating of IP20 (or IP40 when installed in a modular enclosure) and pollution degree 2, it is designed for safe installation in electrical distribution panels.
Built to comply with IEC/EN 61131-2 standards and RoHS directives, the device ensures reliable and environmentally compliant operation across a wide temperature range.
